A handover sheet for whoever looks after your pond
A good handover makes the next person’s job simple. Save a short routine beside the equipment.
Daily checks
List the fish, feeding amount and the appearance of normal water flow. Show the helper where switches, valves and emergency aeration are located. Label what should not be adjusted.
When to call
Describe the changes that need a call: missing flow, gasping fish, leakage or unusual behaviour. Leave your number and a professional contact.
Keep it practical
Pre-measure suitable food portions and agree how to record checks. Ask the helper to report a missed feed rather than compensating with a double portion.
