5–6” Golden Tench
Golden Tench are a beautiful and hardy pond fish, prized for their striking metallic gold colour and peaceful nature. Growing into a chunky, torpedo-shaped fish with small red eyes, they add a bright flash of colour as they glide along the bottom and mid-levels of the pond.
Often called the “doctor fish” of the pond, Tench are well known for their tough constitution and ability to thrive in a wide range of pond conditions. They spend much of their time gently foraging along the bottom for natural foods, helping to keep the pond ecosystem balanced.
Our 5–6” Golden Tench are a great size for introducing into most established ponds and mix well with koi, goldfish, orfe, and other peaceful pond fish.
